Overview
Material of the collar is 3S (KCF) so it is an insulator.
When the nut is welded upside down or no nut, electrical current is not applied and it prevents inverted nut welding and defective welding.
Insulation collar can be easily removed. By doing so, redressing of the upper tip end surface is possible.
